Jörg Schmidt becomes Senior Vice President (SVP) People and Chief Representative at ELEMENT

Berlin, 20 December 2022 - Shortly before the end of the year, ELEMENT is pleased to announce another key hire. Jörg Schmidt will join the Berlin-based InsurTech as SVP People and Chief Representative on 1 January 2023. As an experienced HR strategist, he will play a key role in the future direction of the company together with CEO Astrid Stange.

Jörg Schmidt has a great depth of expertise and experience in human resources management and as an insurance manager. For many years, he held the key position of Group Human Resources Manager at AXA Germany, where he was in charge of the Group's HR work. Jörg Schmidt was entrusted with the development of the employer brand, played a key role in the realignment of HR and the implementation of cultural change, and thus successfully prepared the company for the challenges of the coming years.

With his wealth of experience in strategic and operational HR work, with his special focus on People, Leadership and Culture, Jörg Schmidt is the perfect person for the key position of SVP People at ELEMENT. From January of next year, Schmidt will have complete responsibility for People and Organisation and will thus play a central role in ELEMENT's personnel strategy and future human resources orientation. This personnel appointment thus forms an essential prerequisite for the implementation of ELEMENT's market and growth objectives.
