Berlin, February 1st. 2023 - Philipp Hartz (Chief Sales Officer) and Michael Bongartz (Chief Commercial Officer) join officially as of today the Executive Board of ELEMENT Insurance. This appointment is another important milestone in the company's growth journey.
Philipp Hartz and Michael Bongartz join ELEMENT's Executive Board, together with Astrid Stange (Chief Executive Officer) and Schuh (Chief Financial and Insurance Officer). This appointment is another important step for ELEMENT’s leadership in terms of expertise and responsibilities, while being well positioned to scale the company in the coming years and to bring ELEMENT to the next level of economic success in the long term.
Philipp Harz started working for ELEMENT in February 2020, and has played an instrumental role in ELEMENT’s success story over the last 3 years. He has been responsible for building up the company’s organisational structures as well as leading all successful funding rounds. Since October 2022, as Chief Sales Officer, he has also taken the lead for the further expansion of ELEMENT's sales channels. In addition, Hartz will continue to be responsible for investor relations.
Michael Bongartz, who assumed the role of Chief Commercial Officer in August 2022, possesses 20 years of deep insurance industry knowledge, and extensive experience in building digital insurance businesses. While leading our Offer Management, Business Management and Partner Onboarding Functions, he will continue to expand the company's innovative and efficient insurance operations.
